Overlay buttons on rolling slideshow

Hello

I have a XD1033 that I would like to have a continuous loop of images running then have certain segments of the screens acting as touch buttons to video files.

I have been able to program a small number of slides to act in this way manually, but I'm wondering if there is a way to apply a series of touch commands to say 100 images that are rolling. Perhaps an overlay layer with the touch commands over the rolling slide show

Is this possible, or do i have to program each image individually?

An image layer with a transparent PNG with touch zones would do this.  I have several projects doing just this at the moment.

    Hi Allen,

    Thanks for your response.

How do you stack image layers on top of each other? My idea is that I would frequently change the images in a slide show on one layer, then have touch zones on every corner that are applied continuously across every image in the slide show.

    Does that make sense?

Here is the recent presentation we did.  It shows the layers.  There is a video/image zone that is the base zone that has an image list of jpg files that are played in a constant loop.  Next there is an image zone over that that contains two arrows on a clear png file.  Attached to this arrow png are touch zones that line up on top of the video/image zone images.  There is an image zone named watchdog that you can ignore.  It just resets a timer to 60 seconds but isn't actually used in this case.

The sole purpose of the arrows/touch is to advance the image scroll to whichever image is desired then pause for 60 seconds then resume image scrolling automatically at 11 second intervals.

    Thanks Allen,

Would you mind uploading the media files as well? It's difficult to get a grasp of what's going on without the media.

How did you create the image play files?

My apologies but I cannot.  These are customer videos.  Unfortunately I do not have the time at the moment to make this with generic videos that would help.  You should be able to open this presentation in BrightAuthor and see the structure...just hit cancel when BA tries to get you to relink the videos.

Hey Allen, do you still have that Bright Author project file available? I'd like to see how you layered everything but the Dropbox link isn't working anymore. Thanks!
