Display a video only when triggered by (rectangular) touch event?

Hi there,

I am new to the BrightAuthor software. Since I use the XT1143 with a touchscreen, I have built an entire menu out of different screens that are linked to one another using only rectangular touch regions. Is it possible to display a video in a specific area of the screen only when triggered by touch?

The area where the video should be would be for example one of the blue rectangles shown in the picture.

I apologize if the question seems wildly strange, I literally just started using the software and found nothing to solve my problem so far.

You could have a video zone that overlaps your image. The video zone can be set to be on top of the image zone, under properties on the layout tab. If the video zone has no content to play, for example if the first state in the video zone is the event handler, then you won't see anything until you choose to play the video, and if when finished you return to the event handler state, it will disappear.
