Renaming player in BSN

My client wants a player to have a different name. If I create an identical configuration in Device Setup but with a new name, will it remove the old name from the BSN? I'm concerned about winding up with two entries of the same player.

Further to that, I have a player that was on one BSN and now needs to be on a different BSN. If I create a new configuration for it under Device Setup but done through the new BSN, will it be removed from the old BSN?

    Units on bsn are tracked by their serial #. You won't get duplicate units. You can go to unit propoerties when logged into bsn and change the name there. 

     

    Yes, if you reset a unit to factory defaults, and then set it up again, it will be removed from its' old account and put in the new account on bsn.
