Enhanced synchronisation

Hello,

I have an installation with three LS423 that are connected to a LAN network. One LS423 is set as master, the other two are set as slave. All three have the latest firmware.

When I disable the enhanced synchronisation, the playback of all three units works fine. The master sends the "sync" token and the slaves start to play.

When I then enable the enhanced synchronisation only the master plays the video and the slaves do not. All three LS423 belong to the same Domain (unique number).

What could be the problem?

Best regards,

Robert

I wonder if the network they are attached to allows multicast?

If they are close together, place them on an un-managed switch.

We almost never use BrightWall...we use the Enhanced sync video wall with very good results.

When I use enhanced synchronization it takes a while to get started. Like 5 minutes after the master starts going.

But once its going they all work endlessly.

I get much better start up times when I use a network hub using DHCP and not a simple switch.
