JRB Technical Are you wanting this for just 1 player, or multiple players?
Is anyone else interested in something like this?
A quick look at the API, this should be possible for me to do as a Media RSS Feed service.
If you have a BrightSign Player with HTML5, there are a few web Widgets for Instagram out there, not sure if any of them will work. The BrightSign players aren't always happy with web widgets.

Ilya Kalenichenko It is needed for 1 playerbut it can be claimed for multiple players.
Integration of Instagram is very much in demand in Digital Signage because in Instagram it is ready-made content that does not need to be specifically created.

JRB Technical So, in looking a little closer, the API I briefly looked at has been partially disabled earlier this year, and will mostly be depreciated by the end of this year. There is another API from Facebook which is a little more involved, and really geared towards the mobile app space. There are some other possible means to get Instagram Media as well.
I will try look at this some more over next few days when I have some spare time, to see if I can get something workable. Once I get to that point, I can format for any Zone size.

JRB Technical So I have looked a few options. The RSS feed that a 3rd party has done is not at all reliable, and portions of data seem to be missing. I suspect what they are doing is actually scraping Instagram for the data and then reposting it as an RSS feed.
As for the new Instagram Graph API, it looks like you have to have a Business Instagram account, and a Business Facebook account, and link both together, and submit a Application for approval, and if approved you have access to your Instagram data. It is not looking like there is a way to easily get Instagram data now without jumping through a whole bunch of nonsense.
I am sorry but this doesn't seem possible at this time without putting in a lot of work and effort to get the data in a workable format.
