BrightAuthor 4.7.1.22 Bug: Publishes media files not related to modified presentation

The switch presentation feature works but when removing all links to the alternate presentation and then removing the secondary presentation from Presentation Properties and saving the modified file, the publishing feature continues to publish media files not contained within the primary presentation.  The work around is to completely exit the app and then open/publish the modified (primary) presentation.   I do realize the secondary presentation must be modified as well  but I had used SAVE AS to copy the primary and want to use the original playlist as built.

Note examining the .bpf file showed no relationship to media files being published, but current-sync-xml listed those media files.

If I'm interpreting things correctly here, you...

    1. Opened BrightAuthor
    2. Opened your original presentation
    3. Removed the switch presentation links and references
    4. Save As-ed to a new presentation
    5. Clicked the Publish button on the Publish tab.
    6. Observed that the published content still included the associated presentations from the original presentation.

(Steps 3 and 4 may be reversed)

Before publishing the schedule, did you ensure it was pointing to the new presentation?

It the original presentation was the first presentation opened in BrightAuthor, the schedule would have it included by default, and it would be referencing the old presentation that still includes the Switch Presentations links unless you changed it, so it would still be publishing the old presentation and its associated presentations' content.

When you closed BrightAuthor and opened the new presentation, the new presentation was put into the schedule as default, so publishing without modifying the schedule would publish the new presentation which doesn't include the switch presentations linked content.

Original presentation1 had 100 images in a media list, it also has a switch presentation function to presentation2.  Removing the image files from presentation1, and alternatively deleting the media list function from presentation1 still results in images being listed in the BPF file.

As noted only removing the switch to presentation2 corrects publishing files from presentation1 incorrectly.

Seems backwards to require removing the switched presentation from the original to clear out what's files are required in the original/presentation1.

Each presentation should stand on it's own, have no influence on files being published beyond it's own file set.  Where a SWITCH presentation is listed it should only validate files in the switched presentation(s) are available to publish.

IMO this remains broken asking the author to remember the quirks associated for switched presentation calls.
