We're running an HTML project that works fine with firmware version 7.1.95 but displays a black screen when the player is upgraded to 8.0.17.
This is happening on the HD1023 and HD1024 players. Below is the error message from the player logs.

Not totally the same issue here - but we're trying to play the same HTML content we used on HD1023s on HD1024s now. The USB touch screen works on set up, but then fails to respond once the project is up and running. The project itself looks the same on the displays (Planar PCT2235). We came across the same issue on the HD1023 and had to revert the firmware back to Pantera-6.2.147.9-update - everything works great on those players now. It doesn't look like we can revert back any earlier than 8.8.08 on the HD1024s. Does anyone have any idea why the touch screen wouldn't work with certain HTML content?
