sync protocol

Hi,

did anybody analyse the packets that are broadcasted by the master in a frame sync setup? I have no devices here, so could anybody share a wireshark dump of a sync setup?

    roSyncManager uses PTPv2 under the hood:

    I don't think the master does anything different when Genlock / frame-accurate VSYNC is enabled. Passing the PTPV2 domain to  roVideoMode.SetSyncDomain() seems to imply the slave Brightsign(s) are just timing their video redraws to the network adjusted clock.
