Hello, I did not find anyone to answer this question. I turn to you. I created a utility in webGL on UNITY.
Is it possible to run it on Brigtsign? If yes, how ?
Thank you

Hi Mousseigt did you get unity webgl working on a brightsign media player at all?
Hi Jason,
I can display my scene on brightsign unfortunately the orders do not work.
I did not find a way to move my characterHi Mousseigt
Yes I have had similar results, from what we have figured out so far Brightsign has their own scripting language which does not translate directly from unity. I have programmer working on this who believes he can solve my current issue which is to be able to rotate around/ interactively view a 360 photo
Great ! Do you think it would be possible to make your programmer work so that it can create a script able to control my character?Potentially, depends what all you need the character to do? what brightsign media player are you using?
My character just has to move in a scene. So the basic functions. I'm using an XT 1143If you are ok with interaction being limited to just walking forward and simple mouse look that might be able to work. It would work like this, the camera looks to where you are touching on the screen and walks in that direction so no jumping, strafing or running. Perhaps we should email to discuss this further?
For me, that would be perfect! It would indeed be easier by mail: mrblanc2003@yahoo.fr
Hello Jason,
Hello Jason, did you find a solution? I'm looking for a script to be able to manipulate a 3D object in brightsignDear Mousseigt and Jason,
I am also trying to get a simple Unity WebGL export working on a XT1144.
Loading gets stuck at 90% - it seems to be an issue with the .wasm part of the Unity export. Maybe an issue with the old Chromium 65 version that is on Brightsign.
Obviously you found a way to get Unity WebGL export running.
Do you have any hints for me?
Best greetings
Daniel
Hello Daniel,
I managed to display my page in html 5 coded on Unity on my XT1143. But like you, most of the time it gets stuck at 90% without displaying anything. The only time it worked it wasn't possible for me to move my character, even in a simple scene. For my part, I'm just looking to use Brightsign to be able to interact with my 3d character, to turn it and observe it from all angles ... IF you find the solution, I want your help.
Hi there!
I finally got a Unity (2020.3.2f1) WebGL build working on a BrightSign XT1144 player! Please take a look at my related post on StackOverflow.
Hello Ajun,
Thank you for this feedback, it's great; i'm trying this !.
Could you interact with your character ? (turn ? walk...).
Thank you so much,
Franck
In case anybody comes across this: this is a bad idea. You can kind of get a Unity WebGL build to play on BrightSign with a ridiculous amount of effort, but it will be buggy and unreliable. I tried and tried and tried with an XT1144, and came to the conclusion we would be better served with a slim PC rather than fighting against the BrightSign OS and struggling with BrightAuthor.
