Firestick - HDMI IN - XT1144

Hi,

We are testing the XT1144 for possible deployment in one of our campus.

We created a "Video-Image" zone and assigned the "live video" object.

When we use an Amazon Firestick in the HDMI IN port, it doesn't work.  It work with Google Chromecast.

Any idea as why?  Should it work with the Firestick?

    Do you know if your firestick uses HDCP 2 vs 1.4? we've seen some issues with HDCP 2.0 devices. YOu can check the log tab of the player to see if there are HDCP 2.x e rrors when the firestick is plugged in. 

     

    what firmware are you testing on?

    Hi,

    There were HDCP 2.0 errors.

    I solved the problem by connecting the Firestick in an HDMI splitter (input side) and connecting the output to the Brightsign.

    I guessed it removed the HDCP !
