Dynamic Playlist | Retrieve Playlist external

Is it possible with BrightSign to do this:

- Upload content (movie + image) remote
- Send playlist to a Crestron touchpanel
- Play movie / show image from Crestron touchpanel 

Is this possible with your product?

    Not out of the box, but sounds like something which can be done through custom programing.

    BrightSign player could act as a web server, exposing a list of media file through JSON or XML.

    The Crestron would use the media list, to populate its UI, and initiate a request to play a file through UDP.

    The player responds to UDP by playing the requested media file.

    That sounds promising. Looks like that I have to buy a BS Player and playing around. I have a customer with three computers and it's running a software on them, and it's kinda advanced for the customer to update the files by themselves. You need to use two applications and upload it in a special way etc etc.. So I was looking for a very easy substitute for this solution. 

    Sometimes you only need to play/show media files (mp4, avi, jpg, png) when you want etc. Upload via ftp or a webpage direct to the BS player and then per automatic Crestron UI will retrieve the file list and when you press on a file it'll play or show until you press stop or smth.
