I am struggling to understand how the "Automatically generate User Variables from Data Feed" option when configuring a data feed in BrightAuthor 4.7 works. I cannot find anything help in the forum or documentation. Any examples or detailed info on how to set this up?

Lyndon Given a rss feed, if you have automatically generate user variables enabled, the ba project will create variable using the title of each element in the rss as the variable name, and the description as the variable value. That should be all that's involved.

Katherine Price But that is not how it works. If you click that box, it does nothing. There are no variables generated. The details and documentation are vague and difficult to follow.

Lovepreet Singh Jassal Yup Not working for me either. Maybe I am missing some detail.

Brandon What does the feed content look like?

Lovepreet Singh Jassal Feed is regular Brightsign data feed.
Here is an example.

TestFeed

TestFeed

test

test

-
Katherine Price But where do you access the feed?

Katherine Price I think so? Basically, I feel like I check that box and I have no idea what it does. :)
