I see that I change the password for a Brightsign player under the Info tab on the diagnostic web interface and that does work on the web. However, even after rebooting the player, BrightAuthor only accepts the old password. I think maybe BrightAuthor uses the local web server password which is different. Is there any way to change that password remotely without factory resetting the devices?

Steven Cline It doesn't appear that this question was ever answered.
A couple of approaches I am trying to confirm:
1) Can you change the Local Diagnostic Web Server somehow without having to factory reset the device?2) We use BA: Connected (ver 1.6.31) and manage devices with Device Setup Library Files and Device Provisioning
- There appears to be no way to update the Local Diagnostic Web Server password in an existing Device Setup File as it is greyed out
- We have Device Setup files for each of our devices (static IP's as per IT's request) and we are at a point where we need to change thee LDWS passwords
- Is our only option to recreate all of the Device Setup Files?
