multiPcm plugin on HD225

We've been successful using the multiPcm plugin and method detailed here:
https://docs.brightsign.biz/advanced/audio-formats#WLf2q 

...on HD224 and XT224's.

A new HD225 however is not playing dice (with the same content and properly set up presentation is outputting stereo only).  Has anything changed with HD225 players with regard to the multiPcm plugin script?

    Weird. Overnight I got a response comment to the above from Riyon that was clearly ChatGPT (I know because I asked the question myself).  Today it's disappeared.
