Problems with SD Card on HD226

Hi all,

i have now tried 3 different SD Cards (8gb 16 gb 32gb) on my HD226.

As soon as i publish a presenation after reboot, it throws an error that it cant find the SD.

I have updated the player to the latest OS 9.1.93.2 and factory reset it multiple times.

i have formated all SD cards over the DWS and my pc. no change.

I can even access the SD over the DWS.

what am i missing here? is the player hardware dead? its facory new..

Hello,
The best approach is to test with a different high‑quality card (Class 10, UHS‑I), ensure it’s properly formatted (FAT32/exFAT), and check for firmware updates. If issues persist, the slot itself may need inspection or replacement.

If you have formatted with DWS on the same player, it means that the slot is functional. I think...

Are you seeing the SD tab in DWS after format and reboot?

Some SD card can be partitioned with some offset, so the partition is not found by the player.

(The safest way is to purchase cards from BrightSign.)

You could try and clear all partitions and re-format the card.
