Please forgive if this has been answered elsewhere, I've peeked around on the forums here without seeing precisely what I am looking for, and perused the manual. I'm something of a beginner with bright sign.
My company is looking to deploy some PowerBI and Sharepoint information on some screens in the building on brightsign devices. These graphs update every few hours.
The tricky part is these contain confidential information, so we can't simply push them to the open web on a URL.
Can anyone give any advice on the best way to implement this? My instinct is to use a VM to download the information from PowerBI or Sharepoint, create an image every hour or so, and then push that to an html hosted locally, but I don't know how often BaConnected refreshes local HTML files.

Bright Scripters Looks like you have the right idea.
You can control the frequency of HTML refresh.
