I'm not sure I follow the logic in the section about Basic Authentication being sufficient for all use cases. Actually, relying solely on basic auth for fleet management feels outdated. In my deployments, OAuth2 has proven necessary for better security granularity. Basic auth exposes credentials too easily in logs. Simply put, modern integrations require token-based workflows, not static username/password pairs.
