I am having trouble with two XD1033's no longer outputting anything from the HDMI output. The two devices are in separate installs. One is standalone and the other is on a corporate network with local file networking.
On the standalone unit: I setup the SD card via Brightauthor and put a few pictures as a generic presentation. The unit appeared to set up normally and displayed the pictures just fine. Fast forward a few weeks. I turned the (LG 60UH6150) TV on and got a "no signal" message on screen. The player is on with a solid green power light. I rebooted the player with the same result. No splash screen or anything. The Busy light flickers on boot up but goes out a short time later. Multiple reboots had no affect. Removing the SD card and putting it in my computer says there's an error on the card, please scan to fix. I've reformatted the card and reconfigured the unit numerous times, each with a different video resolution. Still no output at all. I've defaulted the unit and started from scratch with a freshly FAT32 formatted card. STILL no on screen display. The same HDMI cable plugged into my laptop yields a perfect picture all the way up to 4k on the TV.
On the networked unit: I followed essentially the same steps as the standalone unit. On this one I also tried connecting it to a completely different display as well, one Sharp and one Vizio. This unit has also lost it's network connectivity. I get a link light and flashing activity light but I cannot access it's static IP, even with a direct connection with my pc set static as well. Defaulting this one yields the same results, no on screen either. Configuring a new SD card and setting it to DHCP had no affect. It still can't be found on the network. This unit worked when it was installed in October and also stopped outputting video at some point thereafter.
Do I coincidentally have two bad units? Affordable, timely on site support would REALLY be helpful here.
