HD2000 Composite output

Hello,
I'm trying to use the resolution 720x576x50p by the composite output on a full hd 42" monitor.
The screen flickers and shows the video in this way:
- a kind of vertical black strip in the center of the monitor (flickering too)
- two videos (the video I want) at right and left side of the monitor

Can be an output problem or a monitor problem?
Consider that the same videos work in VGA in 1024x768x60p.

Thank you

Edit----
note that without memory the HD2000 displays a screen divided in 2 parts (left and right) with the Roku logo and version 1.3.31 in both sides

Which monitor brand and model are you using? If you use a higher resolution over component, does that give you the same problem?

The monitor is a GDS MOLVT4200C. It's an industrial model for digital signage. Using an higher resolution over component the video becomes not visible with high flickering. The screen is filled by a lot of flickering dots.

Anyway, over the component output seems that no resolution is working properly.

    Any idea?

    ---edit---

I confirm that VGA works...obviously at VGA resolutions

    I'll lookup the monitor specs.

It's highly likely the monitor does not support 576p@50Hz.

Try the same resolution at 60Hz as a test.

I'm guessing you meant your wanting to use the YUV (Component) output as there is no composite output.
