Twitter API error

I'm using XD1030 (firmware 4.4.44) and BrighAuthor 3.5 and I'm having issues with Twitter feeds. Already configured players respond with error 410 for twitter API. When creating new presentation with new twitter feed within BrightAuthor i get error "Unable to access the RSS feed association with specified Twitter user name."

I assume I has to do with Twitter retiring API v1.1 - https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-is-retired

Any workarounds known untill this is fixed?

Brightauthor 3.7 which is being released on friday uses the twitter json api instead of the rss one they just retired.

I'll post a plugin shortly but you could technically use livetext and a plugin to display twitter content.

Did 3.7 come out last Friday? I'm not seeing it in the downloads.

No, it did not.  The latest Support Announcement is that they are 'currently developing a fix' and will announce it here - http://support.brightsign.biz/home

For those of you following this thread via email, BrightAuthor 3.7.0.12 Beta was released, but it has been confirmed by myself and user Walter, that this version does not seem to fix the Twitter problem at this time.

The twitter changes are finished and going through qa currently. If you would like to test it out early, let me know, and I'll email you the newer brightauthor and updated firmware.

You need to update to BrightAuthor 3.7.0.37 and enter twitter username without the @ symbol.
